About Our Founder & CEO – Megan Bloom
Megan Bloom is the heart and driving force behind Bright Spectrum Billing Consultants LLC. With over seven years of experience in medical billing, coding, and revenue cycle management, Megan has worked her way through nearly every role in the field — starting as a front Office staff member, to an in-house biller, moving into an RCM Implementation Project Manager position, then excelling as a Senior Billing Success Manager all while taking the leap into business ownership.
Her professional expertise is backed by certification in her specialty and hands-on experience with outpatient, inpatient, and multi-specialty practices. She has worked with providers in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, ABA, Mental Health, Chiropractic care, and more — giving her a broad yet detailed understanding of the unique billing challenges each discipline faces.
But what truly sets Megan apart is her deep personal connection to the therapy community. As a mother of six children, with two of those children on the autism spectrum, Megan knows firsthand how critical access to quality therapy is for patients and families. She has lived the journey from both sides — as a parent navigating therapy services, watching her children develop from the therapy provided - and as a professional ensuring providers get paid for the care they deliver.
This dual perspective fuels her passion for helping therapy practices thrive. Megan founded Bright Spectrum Billing Consultants LLC with a mission to eliminate the administrative barriers that distract providers from their calling. She believes that therapists deserve the same level of care and dedication they give their patients — and that includes ensuring their revenue cycle is healthy, efficient, and stress-free - all through her consultation services and efforts.
Today, Megan personally oversees client onboarding, contract management, and quality assurance. She does this while she provides one-on-one consultation services, guiding providers through credentialing, workflow optimization, and compliance best practices. Her leadership style is collaborative, approachable, and fiercely committed to client success.
To Megan, every client is more than just a contract — they are a partner in a shared mission: improving access to care and supporting the professionals who deliver it.
